All workshops are lead online in the comfort of your own home through Zoom. These interactive workshops delve into the mysterious and fascinating world of tea, while giving you lovingly curated hands on tools and tea to enjoy at home during the workshop. Each workshop is 1.5 hours long and takes place in Eastern Time. Please see below for workshop descriptions. Peppermint, roses, lavender and orange.. oh my! Enlighten your senses & knowledge of teas and tisanes through an interactive tea blending workshop in the comfort of your own home! Explore over a dozen herbs, fruits and spices and create your own custom tea blend based on what flavours, tastes and health benefits appeal to you. Join Tea Sommelier and creator of The Monarch Tea Co., Katie Cyr, in this interactive workshop. Attendees will learn about the art, history and culture of tea blending as well as tips and tricks for creating your perfect brew. Guests will enjoy a cup of tea as they learn about the different uses of popular herbs and spices. You’ll receive a kit sent to your home filled with 13 different teas, herbs and spices that you will use during the workshop to create your own tea blends. Guests will also receive a 20 pack of biodegradable “fill your own” tea bags, a tea wheel and food grade Kraft bags to store your new blends in, as well as labels to name your unique blends.
