Crafted from granite stoneware clay and finished with a custom jade glaze, this matcha bowl is a perfect addition to your daily tea-making ritual. Each piece is handmade in Hamilton, ON, by Samantha Lau from Little Ginkgo Crafts.
Small-batch ceramics take 3 to 4 weeks to create, from raw clay to the finished product. Designed for both beauty and durability, this bowl is made to be enjoyed for years to come. It also is beautiful as a special planter.
To use, scoop 1-2 tsp of your favourite matcha into the bowl. Add a few oz of hot water and whisk with a bamboo chasen in a W motion to create a beautiful and rich froth. Enjoy straight from the bowl, or use the easy pouring spout to effortlessly add your matcha to a mug or to-go cup.
