Izu Matcha (Culinary Grade)
Matcha is stone ground green tea that can be whisked in a mug or bowl to create a frothy, invigorating brew. Our Izu matcha is an every day matcha that’s best enjoyed on it’s own or in smoothies or tea lattes. This matcha boasts a jammy-like smoothness with a very satisfying full cup. Luxury grade Japanese green tea and Gyokuro gives a light astringent finish.
To brew: whisk 1 tsp with 4-6oz of 175 F water in a “W” motion. Enjoy! To make into a matcha latte, simply add an additional 6oz of a steamed milk of choice. You can optionally sweeten with vanilla syrup.
